Terms

These terms define the current launch-stage CloneSentry service, the limits of scan results and enforcement drafts, and the approval gates that apply before any outbound or irreversible action.

Acceptance

By using CloneSentry, starting a scan, unlocking a report, contacting support, or using any launch-stage feature, you agree to these terms. If you use CloneSentry for an organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Service scope

CloneSentry helps detect possible brand clones, lookalike domains, public webpage copying, branded-search visibility, and related public signals. It can organize evidence, score likely risk, and draft possible enforcement routes for review.

The service is an evidence and workflow tool. It is not a law firm, takedown agent, managed analyst service, domain registrar, search engine, ad platform, or court filing service.

No legal advice

CloneSentry does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Drafts, routing suggestions, risk scores, and evidence summaries are informational workflow outputs.

You are responsible for reviewing facts, confirming rights-holder or sender authority, deciding whether a route is appropriate, and consulting qualified counsel when needed.

Sender approval

CloneSentry does not auto-send complaints, activate paid ads, change billing, submit provider forms, change domains, post publicly, or perform irreversible provider actions without explicit approval at action time.

Any notice, complaint, report, or enforcement communication is sent by you or your authorized representative. You must review and approve all factual statements, attachments, attestations, and perjury statements before sending.

Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate scan inputs, use the service lawfully, avoid uploading information you are not authorized to share, and avoid using CloneSentry to harass, misrepresent, or submit bad-faith complaints.

You are responsible for keeping your account, email, support messages, exported evidence, and report links secure.

Scan and evidence limitations

Scan results are prioritization signals and may include false positives, false negatives, stale results, unavailable provider data, missed pages, incomplete screenshots, or third-party rate-limit gaps.

Risk scores are not legal determinations. Visibility estimates, exposure estimates, similarity signals, and provider-route suggestions are directional and should be reviewed before action.

Third-party services and public content

CloneSentry may depend on hosting providers, storage providers, email providers, payment processors, analytics tools, scan infrastructure, search or ad data sources, and public websites. We do not control third-party availability, policies, rankings, ad data, abuse forms, or review timelines.

When CloneSentry captures public webpage content or screenshots, that evidence is used to help document public brand-confusion signals. You are responsible for using exported evidence lawfully.

Payments and refunds

For paid launch-stage plans, billing support and refund review requests can be sent to support@clonesentry.com.

Refund eligibility depends on the plan, timing, promotional terms, whether monitoring has run, whether evidence exports or reports have been delivered, whether custom setup or provider configuration work has begun, and whether abuse or policy violations occurred.

Unless a separate written offer says otherwise, fees for completed custom setup, delivered evidence bundles, exported reports, or substantially used monitoring periods may be non-refundable.

Acceptable use

You may use CloneSentry to monitor brands, domains, public pages, ads, and search signals that you are authorized to review for legitimate business, security, or rights-protection purposes.

You may not use CloneSentry to attack third-party systems, bypass access controls, collect private personal data, impersonate others, submit knowingly false complaints, or violate provider terms.

Intellectual property

CloneSentry and its software, design, reports, templates, workflows, and documentation are owned by CloneSentry or its licensors. You retain your rights in your brand inputs and materials you provide.

Subject to these terms, you may use reports and exported evidence for your internal review, support, legal, security, and enforcement workflows.

Availability and changes

CloneSentry is a launch-stage product and may change quickly. Features may be added, removed, delayed, rate-limited, or changed as providers, scan methods, and product scope evolve.

We may suspend or limit access for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, legal compliance, payment issues, or violations of these terms.

Disclaimers

CloneSentry is provided as available. We do not guarantee that every clone, lookalike, ad, app, search result, or copied page will be found, that any provider will act, or that any enforcement route will succeed.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free scans, search ranking outcomes, ad platform outcomes, takedowns, de-indexing, domain transfers, account action, damages recovery, or legal results.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloneSentry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, provider decisions, or enforcement outcomes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service, providers, pricing, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of the page shows the current version.
